We bring a personal and friendly approach
to every photography job we work on,which is why
our clients love us!!
Hi, My name is Jason. I am a professional 40 something award winning wedding photographer based in Rossett, which is half way between Wrexham and Chester. Welcome to my photography website, I’m married to my beautiful wife Lorna and have an equally beautiful daughter, lets not forget our crazy Jack Russel called Lulu. I would describe myself as an ambitious , adventurous, laid back, nature loving, introverted extrovert. I am an artistic romantic and am passionate about my job. I started out with photography at a very early age and had always been a hobby all through my childhood. To me wedding photography isn’t so much a job as I truly love it.
As you can see from my friend above he doesn’t take too kindly to sharing popcorn, I hate self portraits so thought I’d put a fun one up. Please excuse the animal on the left!
I do like the fun aspect of a wedding and love to catch all the details as well as the important parts, or as I like to call them, the real moments.
I shoot weddings all over the United Kingdom and destination weddings abroad. I am fully insured and use professional canon cameras, you can keep up to date with my work either over on my blog or head on over to my Facebook page.
MORE ABOUT WHAT WE DO,
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW MORE OF.
Q “How many images do we typically get?” A During a typical wedding, I aim to get between 300 and 800, of course it depends on the size of your wedding, the length of your wedding and….the weather!
Q “Are you insured?”A Absolutely! Public liability up to a cool 2 million plus professional indemnity.
Q “How long after the wedding till we get to see our photos?” A I try my best to have your proofs ready to view either in an online gallery or disk around 2-3 weeks, and then your album 5-8 weeks after that, but does depend on my workload and the printers workload during the time of year.
Q “Who owns the copyright of the images?” A The copyright of the images always remains with the photographer, however, I always licence with any disk/usb the right to reproduce the images however they like. For example, on Facebook, sharing with friends and family, email and printing. The only thing you can’t do is offer them for re-sale or marketing purposes.
Q “What preparations do you make before the wedding?” A About 4 weeks before your big day we can meet up either at your home or your wedding venue to discuss the timeline of the day and go through a shot list, if not we can discuss through email.
Q “What equipment do you use?” A I use professional digital cameras and lenses with back ups and spares of everything.
Q “Do you want a meal on the day?” A That would be lovely thank you, If I’m working all day with you I’m gonna be starvin like marvin!
Q “Do you backup all our photos?” A I do indeed, all your photo’s are backed up via two hard drives, the cloud and of course your online gallery.
Q “I’m a bit camera shy….”A Don’t worry, the majority of people don’t feel comfortable in front of a camera. I try not to be too obtrusive and not have you pose too much. If you feel you are very shy then you might like to have a pre wedding/engagement shoot, which is a great way to get rid of pre wedding camera shyness and also a great opportunity to get some great photo’s for your signature board.
Q “How do we book you?” A Head over to my contact page (below), email me, Facebook me, phone me, text or Tweet me to see if I’m available on your big day. If I am we can arrange an informal meeting and have a chat about what you want from me as a photographer and give me more details about your wedding. Then, once a package has been agreed I will ask you to complete a booking form and there is a 25% deposit/booking fee, the balance doesn’t need to be paid till 30 days before your wedding day.
Q “What are your prices?” A My prices start from as little as £450 up to a very reasonable £1500 depending on the length of time I’m required plus albums etc. Hop on over to my prices page to see what packages are available.
Q “Were any gorillas harmed during the making of this website?” A Of course not, but I couldn’t get him to sit still hence I had to persuade him with the popcorn.
