Adapting to light

Help for heroes

I had the opportunity to photograph at a charity event in the Wynstay arms, a hotel in Ruabon near Wrexham. Whenever and where ever I go I always need to be aware of the changing light, which in turn I need to adjust either my aperture, my shutter speed or my iso along with the power of my flash if I’m using it. Learning about photography is never ending, I’m constantly put into situations were I need to adapt quickly and use the techniques I’ve learnt over the years from many hours with my head in a book looking at other peoples work from countless hours on the internet, not copying them but taking little snippets from each one, learning from them and using them to the best of my ability.
